Roses in 3 English Counties
Departs Bed and full English breakfast basis included at our hotel. All rooms with private facilities. Afternoon tea at Woburn Abbey. Comfortable coaching throughout. Pick ups London, Watford.
Itinerary Day 1: Our first visit today is to Woburn Abbey with entrance to the Safari Park, Abbey, gardens and afternoon tea included. It is here that the tradition of afternoon tea is said to have begun. Day 2: This morning we make a visit to the beautiful RHS Hyde Hall Gardens. This afternoon we make our way to Knebworth House where the rose garden is surrounded by yew hedges. There is plenty to see including colour gardens. Day 3: We make our way to Waddesdon Manor and its gardens. 600 roses are planted here. Other delights include the fine Victorian bedding and water garden. Day 4: We check out of our hotel and visit the fine gardens of Hatfield House including the East Wing and the Gardens of the Rose in St. Albans created by the National Rose Society. We return to London early evening. |
